Fall Retreat 2021

at Virginia Beach

Fall is one of the most beautiful times of year at the beach. The summer crowds have left, the air is cooler, and the light is golden. Join Yaco Murphy (yacomurphy.com) and myself for a two day, two night getaway in Virginia Beach. Wake up at the front beach to the sound of waves and the crisp, autumn breeze. Mornings will begin with a beach walk or Tai Chi, a vinyasa Yoga practice, then a dharma talk to enrich your knowledge of the Yoga Sutras. Saturday morning you will be treated to a spiritual discussion and Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. Afternoons are for discovering the state park and estuary, kayaking, bike riding, labyrinth walk, dolphin and whale watching, or curling up on the roof deck with a book and 360 degree view of the beach. After dinner, more yoga and a dharma talk before stargazing on the roof deck or settling into a deep duvet for a cozy night’s sleep. The retreat ends on Sunday afternoon.

SANGHA PRACTICE

COMMUNITY

UNITY

CONNECTION

Come practice with us on Wednesday, July 21 at 6:30pm.

I've set the time a little later to allow for some shade and cooling. We'll meet at my house, and depending on the number of people who can come, we'll either stay in my yard around the pool, or we will move to the field across the street. I'll have lots of cool water, and you can always take a dip if you get heated.

This multi-level class will be one hour. I will be able to offer hands-on assists during the practice, and answer your practice questions.

This will also be a great way to lay eyes on all those we've missed so much!

Hope to see you there!
